I'd like to get rid of the catalytic converter on my 6th gen VFR. I have Leo Vince exhaust pipes. Any suggestions?

Some people cut it out and weld in a pipe to replace it. Others will fit '98-'99 stock 5th gen headers - they are a bolt on. Lastly you could buy Motad headers. They fit both 5th gen and 6th gen, and are made of stainless steel.

I'm assuming once the CAT is gone there will be a need for a PCIII to get it running right?

I think that you're right on that one. I have a PCIII installed already, so when I get the CAT out, I'll try and find a map that works best for a system without a CAT and and with Leo Vince mufflers.

    Thanks!
