    Hey All,

Just Bought My 06 Viffer (pearl White) And Need Side And Trunk Luggage. Thinking Bout The Honda Version That Is Paint Matched. Any Suggestions? The Trunk Luggage Is Needed Mostly For My Wife's Comfort To The Beach.

Also, Any Thoughts On The Sargeant Or Corbin Seats? I Can Go Either Way But Again, Which Will Keep My Wife Off My Back!!! Which Is More Comfy?

Thnx For The Help. I'l Post Photo Too....great Site!!!

Good one, I likie that white VFR, as far as hard bags go, I myself haven't seen any I like that would do the job I have in hand, so I went soft luggage. Now when you find out about the seats, I want to know, Wife here too wants to ride and have been trying to decide which would be better. Be nice if I was in CA as they make appointments for making up your seat while you wait, then you could try it, doesn't work then they'll fix it on the spot., way cool I say but man thats a long haul just for seat fitment..

I've got the 06 white VFR w/hard bags and love them! They just look right for the bike. If you go with the tail trunk you can get the passenger pad for it you wont have to worry about the seat as the wife can lean back against it.
In your paperwork you should have received about 6 coupons from Honda. They look like business cards. I used two of them, 15% off accessories and the other was free instillation of any accessories up to 1.5 hrs labor. I guess I paid about $800 for the bags when done.

I love mine! The bike just wasn't complete without the OEM hard luggage. I can't believe how convenient they are. No more backpack to work everyday!

You can see photos of the bike with bags on my PhotoBlog below!

Go with the sargeant seat. Corbin looks great, but is crap for comfort. The stock VFR seat is more confortable than the Corbin. I had the same experience on my Harley. The Corbin looked awesome, but didn't feel as good as the stock seat.

Do I have to go through my local Honda dealer to get the hard bags?

Just my opinion, but, definitely go with the factory hardbags. Nothing made looks quite as good. I doubt anything out there is easier to put on ar take off either. I'm not just talking about quick disconnecting the bags from the mounts. I only put on my mounts when I am going on a trip or I need the extra capacity for storage. Otherwise, I take all of my stuff off, because I like the look of the bike better that way.

I bought mine from David Silver Spares in Great Brittian. Good price, Fast Delivery and my bags don't have that big reflector on them. (They also say VFR instead of interceptor)

I'm buying an 06 white myself very soon and I am definetly going with the factory hard luggage. As for the seat, I have had three corbins and have loved them. The are super comfy once broken in. I have heard great things about the sargent too, and don't think you would be dissappointed in either one.

    EOM luggage

I have a rted 05 with EOM luggage. They are perfect, mount on & off easily and look better than any other luggage. I do not have the Trunk luggage beciase I think it makes the bike look like a cruiser. I just use a black soft luggage bag secured with a net on the seat purchased cheap from Walmart. that looks great, has plenty of room. I But if you have a passaenger, comfort is really needed. Also I just bought a locking tank bag and tail bag from Luggagelocker. http://www.luggagelocker.com/luggage-tank-locker.htm

    Rick Roush

Through one of the links on this site I found RickRoushMotorsports.com, they list the bags for 769.96. That is a huge savings over dealer prices. I haven't ordered from them yet, so can't give you any advice as to how reputable they are. Also there is temeculamotorsports, also found on this site, and they list them for 850.00. Hope that this helps.

I don't think it's you... I wasn't able to find them on any Honda web site either. I just went down to the dealer I bought my bike from and they hooked me up at employee cost! woo hoo!!!
