Picked it up this morning, finally after such a long wait. Of course the weather is shite so for now i'll sit here and drool.
Hi daffy and welcome to the group. Thats a beautiful bike. I like that shade of blue. We can also add one more to the list of those from the land of OZ. This is so cool. can I drool on it too? hehehe
You definitely need to see one in the flesh to really appreciate them, glad i made the decision to get one over any other make/model.
Is this your first VFR? If so you will be most happy with it I think. It's a bike that does it all, runs with the sports bikes and tours as well.
That color is SWEET!!!!! I cant wait till my paint guy gets his booth back up and running.. All custom Airbrush work.. Oh I cant wait..
we were in there for a while but it seems to be having some problems. we are working on it, though... btw, here is a link to the member map so you can pin your location in case you haven't done it yet....
I put a few more klm's on it today, now only just over 100 on the odometer:roll:  Only suburban ones to keep the revs sane and varied while i'm doing the break -in. The most annoying thing so far is the jerky throttle response, i suppose that's a lot to do with me as well as this is my first fuel injected bike. It certainly pulls up fine, even with the standard exhausts you know there is a V4 powerplant under there. TBH the sound is one of the reasons i got this bike. It will be interesting come warm weather time (it's only 20c outside), the temp gaude creeps to 100 celcius very quickly even with slow riding. Getting stuck in traffic won't be fun, the fan sure gets a workout but it does cool it down after a couple of minutes. I notice you need to be doing at least 50-60klm/h(30-35mph) for airflow to have any impact on the temperature, i realise this is probably nothing new to 6thy gen. owners but feel free to comment.
Nice bike Daf. Welcome aboard and abroad. I take it you are on the Sunshine Coast somewhere? WARNZIE67
