Anybody check out the MotoCzysz test by Nick Ienatsch in the new July addition of Cycle World? Nick tested them back in January, I know, but this new test was a after some updates/upgrades had been made. The owner/creator Michael Czysz started this creation from scratch basically. Him and his team designed and developed more than 2000 parts for the C1, and 90% of this bike consists of custom one off pieces according the article. I saw pics of it awhile ago, but I wanted to see what everybody else thought of it. So, what do you all think of it? Read the article if you need more info. This baby weighs in at less than 350 lbs even with an underseat radiator.

BTW, Michael and his team are based around Portland, OR.

I am happy to see a new American bike that is not related to the one that's been around for ever. From what I've heard about this guy and his crew, I am impressed. It would be nice if they could produce a bike that the common man could afford.

Not that I'd give up my VFR.

It would be awesome if he got enough momentum to produce this bike on a large scale. I bet the motor sounds badass in person I love the looks the bike.

Hmmm... In line 4 going front to back? Seems to make more sense than side to side. If they actually get 200HP out of 990CC's that bike is going to be freaking bad ass.

    KC-10 FE out...

I think the front end is the most interesting part. The fork sliders are on bearings and theres one shock in the middle. Thats the last I read from about a year ago, havent seen the new CW test yet.

Of course... I let my Cycle World subscription lapse because there was nothing interesting to read and the next month's issue has something interesting to read!

I guess I'll add this month's CW to the stack of british mags that I read at Barnes and Noble because they're way too expensive to subscribe to.

Not close as far as I know. They got a huge reality check when MotoGP switched from 990cc to 800cc but even that's been a while back. The big guys could spare the R&D money for the rule change but not a small company that doesn't even mass produce. Very cool concept, might have aimed a little big without the renewable income part sorted out.

Good documentary out there on Discovery I think, I'm rooting for these guys but I'm just an average Joe and will probably never see one.

yeah, i saw the documentary, very cool stuff. i didn't even think about the switch to 800cc. that has to be extremely tough for a small firm like that, along with the uncertainty of other changes to come along.

They're still going, As a small company, its all about investors..... There's still intrest in MotoCzysz, but the economy sucks... so we'll see how things go. They seem to be optimistic.

I'm not really working FOR them...... not yet anyway.

I like the counter-rotating crankshaft feature the best. Definitely kind of a technical purist approach, but still neat.
