Hi everyone newbie here. I bought a nice vf500 recently but i've got a bit of problem with the lights. I know i might be on the wrong site but this is bigger than any of the vf sites, and presumably the honda electric are similar. anyway: the indicators work fine but but the fronts are always on. Also, the rear brake light is always on although it gets brighter when you apply either brake. The previous owner mentioned something about the flasher relay. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really love this bike and can't wait to get it on the road.
    thanks in advance

yes, the indicators are original - I think everything on the bike is stock. It's an '84 but I think it might have been imported from the US which means, I think, that there isn't actually a switch to turn the headlight off, just hi beam and lo beam.

welcome to the site, and get your feet under the table!

normally your bike has front running lights on at all times; in fact, m8, everything seems OK.....
