    hate to be the bearer of potentially bad news, but weather forecast for Palomar is 30% rain showers on Saturday. Rain starting tonight through Monday with the majority of precip on Thursday. Just a heads up. Looks like Ortega/Palomar (NOV) all over again...

    Yeah, I saw that Shayne.....well, all I can say is that I am hoping for the typical SoCal forcast where it calls for a week of rain and barely rains two days. My crystal ball tells me that the sponge will be squeezed dry by Friday night......

    Hey everyone,
    I'm curious how long do you guys anticipate the bbq to last? I won't be free until early evening time (~3-4 pm) and obviously can't make the ride but would love to ride out for the bbq if it's still going to be going on. I'm in Moreno Valley, should take a bit over an hour depending on traffic.

    all I have to say is that if you guys don't make it due to what you call "rain" in California then YOU DON'T HAVE ONE HAIR ON YOUR ASS! I'll be there come hell or highwater AND riding 5 hours through it to get there. Then I'll stay up way later than I should on Fri doing unthinkable things to my body and still go to the ride on Sat.

    Just think of all those guys in areas where riding at this time of year is not even an option. (Hey MD I'm talking to you brother) Have you ever experienced true rain? If I'm not there on the ride, I'm in the hospital. (or the morgue I suppose) I have waited too long to visit this end of the state.

    If anyone wants to ride with, I'm leaving sometime Thurs. Contact me ASAP. Sat my stepson will ride two-up once we are down there so most of you should be able to keep up with us. ;)

    I'm gonna take a camera and get some pics for those of you less geographically fortunate.

    yes i should make it to the BBQ and maybe to the ride ? but i will be on a gsxr so try not to bust my balls to much, i need to look and see where to meet for the ride ? is anyone going past the 15 and 60 ? wheres a good place to meet ? i will be coming from Pomona/Ontario area ? if so PM me please.

    Hey Chuck, don't wait for me on Sat morning. I will be leaving on Friday eve with my bike in tow; reason so I can sleep in my CRV as needed and to bring a couple of foldable chairs, a cot, a table to help out for the BBQ/sleep over.:cheersaf:
