    Hi all,

The stock seat on my 2001 will not lock into place. Any suggestions on where to buy a new locking mechanism?

    Thanks.

I've been looking for a few months as without any luck. It sounds like we may have the same problem as eachother as I lost a few pieces to mine as well. Anyhow please let me know if you find a good place to purchase one.

Sorry its been awhile scince I had a chance to reply...mine fell f too but was lucky enough to find all the peices and bolt them back on...im assumming the both of your vibrated the two bolts loose and it fell off lossing one part...unfortunatley I have no idea where to find the replacement unless you find a parts bike thats been wrecked (hence the ebay thing) or you go to a Honda stealership and let them order you a replacement, which will prbrably be rediculously expensive and you will have to buy the entire locking mechanism....thats all I can think of, unless you guys can "jerry rig" something...good luck sorry cant help more...
