    Hello everyone,

I've been a member of VFRD for years and was just tonight told of this forum. I had no idea! I currently ride a Yellow 2000 after initially starting out on a Silver 2003...hence the title in my sig below.

I'm just a big, dumb sales guy pawning my wares to the automotive industry here in Michigan. Anyone want to buy a few thousand crankshafts? My company could use the sales dollars!

Some of you may have heard of me as I am the one who makes the acrylic mirror extenders from over on VFRD. I think I've made and sold about 100 pairs over the past few years...all cut, drilled, sanded, painted, packed and shipped by my two hands. I'll post something here to see if any of you can use a better rear view. (I need to figure out posting here!) I have also sold a few thru eBay, so I guess there's a chance I may have unknowingly run across a couple of you guys there as well.

Thanks for listening and I'll try to be a productive member for you.

Welcome to the REAL VFR Forum!

Where about in Michigan are you from? I remember seeing a few riders in the VFRD in Michigan like i think Rivcyko or something over in Ypsi. I'm from the Jackson area. Glad to see fellow Michigan VFR Riders here!

cool, we'll have to ride some time. I have a buddy in ann arbor with an old 88 CBR 600 that I ride with quite often. Maybe we can hit up the dexter trail when it warms up.

Welcome aboard!! I believe Julian may be referring to the "Darth Bling" mirrors mounts that someone on VFRD fabricates and sells.

How is the weather up there in Michigan? I feel bad for you guys up North who can't get much riding in during the cold months. Today was clear and sunny in Atlanta but it was still an ass-clenching 14 degrees when I woke up and I have been itching to ride. I waited for it to warm up to about 20 degrees and then took each of my bikes for about an hour long ride each. I could only imagine how cold it gets up there during the winter.

    Regards,
    Rollin

It's not the cold that gets you up here... it's the snow/ice. The roads are covered in snow right now but should be getting a little bit cleaner after the weekend I guess.

It's a balmy 17 F as of 5:45pm with windchill "real feel" of 2 right now. Considerably better since the windchill was down to -27 two days ago. Kids had school off Thursday and Friday because of temps and not snow.

Hey Michigan dude! Lots of members here on on both sites VFRworld/VFRD. Sometimes I even see the same question posted on both.

Still for me - VFRworld is home, we're just a little bit more wacked.

    Welcome!

BTW - automotive parts sales? Wish u good luck - 2009 is gonna be super tough at about 10.5 millon vehicles. I'm an automotive engineer and been laid off. (I'm kinda glad - I hated my job. Better things will come.)
