Sandalwood brings home his new old-stock RWB ABS!

I did it, everyone! Some of you have seen me on the forums and chat for a week or so as I pondered and prepared to pull the trigger on my Viffer. Lots of you offered advice and help, and thanks to everyone on here who has been really supportive and friendly.

I'm ready to ride!! The hard bags arrive tomorrow and I'll have them mounted up shortly thereafter.

Congratulations Sandalwood, the V4 will be one of the most exciting things you'll ever had between your legs ( Girlfriend excluded ) I've owned everything from inlines to twins and nothing does it for me like the V4 :biggrin:

 

I did! It was $9699 including the ABS. Not too shabby. Hard bags were another $999, of course, and install will be $150.

I'm really enjoying it. I have been straining to keep my wrist under control and have managed to keep it under 5k RPMs thus far. I'm nearing 200 miles already (as I took the day off yesterday to go start to break it in) and I can't wait until I can have this baby wound out all the way.

I got the carbs re-tuned on my Bandit this morning, so this has been a fun past couple of days to be riding.

Very well! I've already done my first mod. :heh: I did a midnight run to my buddy's house the other night and he offered me a gently used Widder heated vest. The price was right and it was 26 degrees out for the 45-minute ride home, so I popped the cover off the battery and put on the power dongle. Now I'm warmer for these bone-chilling nights we're having.

 

That is one Beautiful Ride. Viffer/Stuka....don't be jealous of the RWB!
