Wow! This system not only unleashed a bunch of power from my bike but it also dropped more weight as well. I switched over from the Brand "Y" slip on exhaust and have not looked back. The sound from the TBR system is AWESOME! Definitely wakes people up on the morning commute down the 405. Yes, the left/high exit system does require the removal of the passenger but if I get a left/low exit S-bend tube I'll be able to put them back on. Jetting wasn't a problem since it was already with the previous system. Installation was very straight forward. Just a note here, having a 3/8" socket "U" joint and various length extensions helped a bunch when working on the 2 rear cylinders. Note-installed the TBR system and tires the same week.

You put this on your VFR? How did you get this system for a VFR?

I think you have to update your motor to inline 4 to fit

TBR used to make full systems for the 5th Gen VFR. It was over $1000 for the set up so there obviously weren't many takers. When I bought my bike I simply did not have enough money to spend to pick up this system. I settled on a TBR slip on & it was a phenomenal piece of shit which is why if you look in my gallery you see a Scorpion CF on it.

    KC-10 FE out...

You can still mount the passenger pegs, but the left one requires heavy modification including removal of the stock helmet lock. You have to grind a lot of material off and shim it a small amount, but it works ok when it is done. The main downside I have found is there is no way to get around the removal of the centerstand. A big upside though, is including the centerstand you are removing AT LEAST 10 lbs. off of the bike!

I would love to see a picture with it mounted on your bike Michael. I have only found pics of two other bikes and the advertising shots.

Oh trust me, if i could find one for either a third or fourth gen i would not hesitate to get it. It is like the holy grail for these bikes. I would live with the compromises. Its worth it for that look. For now, this will have to do.

How do you take the seat off of your 94-97 if you remove the factory helmet lock, seat release?

Just leave the end of the cable under the tail. It has a small nut on it that you can pull to release the seat.
