Wow, hope you have never used them for service or parts.

I got the same kit with my 05 as jasonsmith and keep the "tool kit" onboard just in case. However, as with every bike I've had going back 25 years, I bought the shop manual, evaluated what I'd need based on my skills and put together a proper kit...

    Hey all, new here.

I noticed the 07 RWB I put a deposit on has the full toolkit, surprised me really. When I bought my 06 F4i and RR I thought I was shorted, dealer played dumb so I called american Honda and was told those bikes only came with necessary tools to access the battery. That means on my F4i, I had no tools since I only have to remove the seat. On my RR, I receiver an allen wrench to remove the seat.

I can see the 06-07 coming with the spanner wrench since the 05 and older had the convenient rear shock adjusting knob built in. Perhaps it is something that is coming with the tri-coat bikes, i.e. the tri-color and the pealr white bikes?

Ditto! I have a set of tools I assembled in a small pouch and take it form bike to bike, depending on which bike I ride if going very far. Of course I take my tire plug kit and CO2 cartridges as well as a small air compressor. Never needing it, but I figure the one time I don't take it.......

I seem to always over pack.

What I thought was a full tool kit turned out to be the pouch shown above and the wrench for adjusting the rear shock pre-load.
