Hi guys I am looking at a 04 vtr750 for purchase, it has some miles on it (35+k). Are there any issues these bikes have? Do they use oil? $1900 bucks, seems pretty good deal. Anything I need to know about? Thanks Joe
VTR 750 doesn't exist; VFR 750? I got a 1991 VFR750 for free last summer, but it needed $2,000 in parts (including a new rear shock, tires, etc.) to make it totally road worthy. I'd say $1900 for a running 1994 is good deal. Edit: I just realized it was a 2004... The 2004s weren't 750, but 800s. $1900 for a 2004 VFR or even a VTR1000 Super Hawk is probably a scam.
maybe its a VTR 250...inwhich case probably ok $$$$. but i can run faster than one of those.... you need to confirm the details i think, with the seller. it cant be a VFR 750, if its an 04 (they stopped making em around 98) and from then on they were 800's.. then theres the VTR description??....currently only 250 or 1000cc versions. unless of course its some wierd hybrid...in which case ....:bolt:
oh, my bad, VFR 750. Typo I guess. and its a 94, not 04 looks like I'll stick with my KLR 650 for now, the slow piece of crap that it is.
Ok, where's this at at? at $1900 it could be way worth it, just depends on it's condition. so you might want to look into it. Na, most don't use oil, with 35K it is just broke in. so millage isn't an issue here.
I'd go look at it and try and get a test ride. That milage is nothing for a v4. $1900.00 sounds good as long a she hasn't been dropped hard. I too got rid of KLR, great bike but very slooooooo unless you ride with other KLR's
