Hey, I just bought a 1985 Interceptor Vf500. I am doing repairs on it right now as it has been sitting for a while. I have rebuilt most of it just have to get a title and take it in to get the carbs rebuilt. I also gave it a new paint job as the old one was faded and looking kinda nasty.

Welcome to the site! Seems like we keep getting more and more 500 members. I like the shade of green you used.

Cool bike, welcome. I admire the time you took to paint the bike, but i'm just not a fan of the color. I guess i am in the minority. Nice to see you take the time to restore the cool 500 though.

I like the green. I'm in the process of painting mine orange. Same deal with the faded paint and the tank was beginning to rust a little here and there.

    Sweet

Nice ride. My neighbor has an '84 vfr700 in a faded lime green that sits outside 24-7-365, just becoming a rust bucket(sigh). Enough of my pain...awesome bike! A nice font of "V-FOUR" in that silver on the belly scoop would just top it off!!!
