I too would love to see some up close & personal pictures of the ASV levers. Anyone got a couple of pics to throw up here?

For any ASV owners, are the ASV logos, both on the top and front of the levers, engraved/machined? Or just something glued onto the levers?

    They do look damn nice.

I'm not at home so I can't post any pics, but there's some great pics here: ASV shorty billet levers : Honda CBR 600RR Sportbike Forum : 600RR.Net

As for shortie vs regular length, it's all personal preference. The shorties are good if you tend to always ride with two fingers on the break/clutch and don't like to crush the other two fingers. I like having the longer levers as I keep two fingers covering but I use the remaining two as a guage when I'm feathering the clutch or trail breaking. I find I'm more precise, but like I said YMMV.

The inside of one lever is engraved "Pazzo". The other lever is not engraved, but they will engrave it for you with just about any word you want. This was a freebie with the Pashnit group buy.

I didn't realize you could get customized engraving. That's a very neat idea.

    Good to know too.

If anyone cares, I threw up some pics here of the gold ASV shorties on my '96 VFR. Just click my profile or whatever. Please forgive the rest of VFR's looks! You can really see just how "orange" the gold color is in contrast to the all-red bike. It's almost gawdy (comments, please)!

Anyway, I went with shorty levers just for shear looks (I think they look "meaner"), although I have rather large hands and long fingers and first time I took 'er out, my hand damn nearly slipped off the levers. After about 30 seconds of it setting in my brain that there just wasn't any lever where there used to be, I got used to it. If you do the two-finger thing, you won't give it a second thought. I cover brake and clutch with all my fingers as I've been conditioned and don't need the two-finger thing to have a lighter touch, and can still use all my fingers (except my pinky from what I recollect).

Anyway, the infinite adjustability alone is worth its weight in gold. The ASV is engraved in a sexy style atop as it transforms into slash cuts, and on the front/rear it's some sort of paint for the "ASV" logo, definitely NOT any stickers: these aren't Lockhart-Phillips levers!

Does anyone know how the OEM levers compare in size to the ASV's long levers? I know the ASV shorty's are 1 1/4" shorter (I read somewhere, correct me if I'm wrong) than their long levers but I'd like to know how the ASV long levers measure up to the OEM levers. Exact replacement?

    Thanks.

 My "shorty" ASV levers measure:

middle of pivot bolt to middle of hole at end of lever: 4.5"
middle of pivot bolt to end of lever: 4 7/8"

    OEM levers measure:

middle of pivot bolt to end of lever: 7"

 "Guesstimate" on ASV non-shorty style levers:

    4 7/8" + 1 1/4" = 6 1/8"

If my calculations are right, the non-shorty ASV levers are 7/8" shorter than the stock ones (basically about an inch).

If you go to K1W1 photo gallery and click the mt evans ride icon there is one photo ( the one with two front ends facing front) of the silver one that shows ASV installed although it doesn't show them in the greatest detail as they're blk on blk. If you have any questions about the ASV's contaact havcar not K1W1.

Not starting an argument here or anything but the ASV's are without question better than pazzos and the price reflects that. Much more adjustabity, smoother pull, and better construction. Looks are generally the same but one can tell the pazzos are made from lower grade metal, they sorta look like that cast metal from the old matchbox toys, where as the ASV's just seem to look more solid.

Motorcycle Consumer News did a comparo a couple months back between the Pazzos and the CRG ones. They didn't have the ASV's, but at least you could read what they had to say, good and bad, about the Pazzos.
