    You got lucky. I had no idea what some extra wire did on my bike, until I heard a loud "beeep-beeep" noise whenever I turned the signals on for more than 20 seconds. :)

    Until I made the mental connection, I was just annoyed by passing cars that go beeeeeeep-beeeep....
