Great VFRW Get-Together

If I can get away for whenever this rally happens, I'll be showing up with a tractor-trailer full of rear tires in all different flavors and they will be for sale. I will have a complete tire changing set-up and mobile shop for bike repair. Replacement plastics will also be available for ALL models of VF's and VFR's as well as brake and clutch levers, mirrors, bars, turns signals, foot pegs. Don't forget to visit my gift store for all of your fuzzy dice and dangling scrotum ornament needs to fully customize your ride. Tiger-Tiger striped seat covers are hot this year, and I've got them! I would assume that they would be needed after spending a few nights camping* in Kansas, given that there are no roads to blow steam on. The upside is that we can have a "faaaaaaaastest" bike competition on the "long and flats" and finally clear up which color is faster. I believe that there is a 1000cc vs. 800EFI question as well.
Lets all make sure that when we do burn our tires off to the aluminum that we all do it downwind of my camping area. Maybe we can make a tire smoke tornado or perhaps set some sort of Guinness record for the largest group of people simultaneously burning their tires off.
Perhaps we should all consider some form of MEDIVAC system as well.

I got the hook up for the medivac. Ks is where I got my wings. The drag strip is an interesting idea, and may even be doable...

 

yodasmile Kansas I kind of close, So count me in. I would prefer it to be in May, the weather is good enough for the ride up there. I hope that the other Bastages show up!

Well son... this may be true. But originally, after I left my daddy's nackers, I was from Winnipeg Manitoba. There the land looks like pee on a plate with the foam all blowed off so I understand your feeling. But I am now from the West Caost of Canada. Look at Google Maps. What a ride getting there. And us flat heads from the prairies still like to see flat land from time to time.

Drewl. BTW. Even though it is not confirmed for sure I am coming, I am studying the maps for a route to take. Do you have a more exact location picked yet? The snow is STILL falleing here and I have nothing else to do except "drewl" over the maps for a route there.

Its too flat.. there are no hills, I don't see any twisties..... Vagasil anyone? This is a get together that Drewl is offering to host at a place big enough to hold everyone FREE of charge maybe a donation for shitter rentals, but fishing shooting and sitting around talking about motorcycles, drinking beer, and eating cooked animal flesh from an opewn flame.... nothing is better than that. (comparatively)

Drewl, I would be intersted. I don't usually do a lot of big group get togethers but I think it would interesting to talk in person to the vfrworld crew. Now, if I could just show up without doing something stupid....well not much chance of that I guess.

We can add Whistler as a location. Everybody is more than welcome to stay at my condo up there. Lots of room, + lots of bike parking underneath.

Sea to Sky corridor is almost done. Its a sick ride now up the 99 and beyond.
