Hello everyone! I'm new to the "VIFFER" scene by recently purchasing my first VFR from VFR4LIFE. It's a beautiful '92 VFR750 and I absolutly love it! I have to say it was very well takin care of by the previous owner and I plan to hold on to this awesome ride for as long as I can! There are not a lot of VFR's in this area and this '92 was the first and only one I have ever saw. Once I heard it was for sale I couldn't resist the offer. I get a lot of comments and heads turn as I ride along the way and most question the age due to the flawless condition of this 14yr old bike. I have to thank the previous owner for I not only feel 10yrs younger while enjoying this ride but I rest assured knowing that I have a very reliable, fun, and eye appealing bike to enjoy. Thanks again bro!
Hi Viffer92 and welcome to the group. We are happy to hear you are extremely happy with your new ride and also taht it came from a fellow member. We have a photo gallery and a member map so you can post pics and pin yourself so we can find you. I myself haev a 93 and I agree they are fun bikes.
Welcome to the Club. My first bike was a 93 Pearl White 750. It was also a case of seeing it and saying that when it becomes available "it will be mine" It turned heads everywhere and sounded awesome fitted with a performance pipe. 2 months later I hit a unmarked diesel spill and that was the end of my VFR Then onto 2 Suzuki SRAD 750's but always missed my VFR and now I'm proud to be back (after 3 yrs of being bikeless - family priorities) on a new VFR800F2 Pearl Blue and LOVING IT!!! They are the most awesome practical bikes around ENJOY IT!!!
I just bought a beautiful 1990 on ebay, with 10,000 miles. Pick it up in Mobile and bring it home to Atlanta, where it's life began, later this week. I'm sure it's exactly like your '92 save cosmetics. Mine has the white wheels which are pretty flashy. Glad to hear you enjoy your's. Funny how the older bikes get more attn than the newer ones it seems. I have a '72 Triumph and a '78 honda, that people always comment on when I have them out. Reliving teen years when they lusted for these bikes, but couldn't afford them (like me) I guess. I also have an '02 that I ride weekly in North Ga. Great bike.
