My name is Randy I live in beautiful Boulder Co.I currently have a 99 Ducati ST4 and a 06 Ducati 999.I am going to trade the ST4 in on a VFR in the next week or so.I have always heard that this is a great bike so now I want to try it.
This site is very similiar to a Ducati ms site and I look forward to all this site has to offer....

Hi Randy. Welcome to the wonderful world of VFR's and this great site. You will find some great info here on vfr's as wel as some great people. You have not heard wrong about these bikes. They can do it all, from touring to twisties, with no fuss. We have a member map to pin yourself to so other members can find you (should you forget where you live ), and a photo gallery to post pics of your VFR when you get it. What year VFR are you getting? I havea 93 and even though it is 13 years old it is still going strong.

Well, I choose the VFR for it's price, reliability, and ability to do everything well. What are you looking to be different between the ST4 and the VFR?

My guess is you'll be losing raw straight line power, but gainning reliability and refinement. I tried the liter class Aprilia sport tourer, and the VFR is swifter.
