    34) Honda is waiting for the VFR's 50th anv.

    35) Honda has a 9,000 square foot warehouse still full of
    800cc v-tech engines.

    36) Honda has already purchased 10,000 gallons of "gloss"
white as a great "new" color for the same "old" VFR in
    2010.

#39. The new, 7th gen motors are now being used to power hybrid cars in Japan. Honda can't keep up with production.

#40 Honda has become too narrow mindedly focused on the 600 sport bike and big bore cruiser markets.

#41 While Honda officials frequent the many VFR forums for ideas, they are distracted by some of the members Avatars and forget to read the posts.

#42 With features like a V-4 engine and single sided swingarm, 90% of the sportbike rider market is confused and defaults to GIXXXXXERS.

#43 they are waiting to release the post-apocalyptic fuel cell powered v-4 single sided swingarm sport-tourer allowing the road warrior to avoid fighting for juice and just ride around looking cool in half a set of shoulder pads ETA 2015

#44 A resurgence of the lovebug virus attached it self to all honda corporate emails and deleted pertinent *.jpg files for the new VFR design

#45 the Jimento party affiliation with Komeito party led to hard feelings in the other political parties. As a consquence, Honda corporate counselors were called in to mediate. All projects at Honda had to put on hold until a decisive harmony could be reached within the political system.

#46 VFR owners have been bad boys and girls and are just getting a lump of coal

#47 Honda is waiting for naming commitee to come up with snazzier names for colors already used on 6th gen VFR so they can be realeased as "new"

#48 Future VFR design team all installed stumbleupon in the browsers and haven't done anything productive in 2 yrs. (they are excelling at internet trivia, though)

#49 Due to a faltering economy the VFR assembly plant was moved to a small village where a family of 6 labors to put the new bikes together aided only by Buddha and tools used in their rice paddies

    57. Honda is superstitious about the number seven. They are working on an alternative number to overcome this obstacle. It's not easy, but they are inscrutable and will eventually prevail.

seeing as its the end of the year i thought it appropriate to put these replies into the "top Ten' list format. So here are my pics in order....

mumber 9: Honda is still waiting for it's bailout money from the US Government. (B Craig)

number 8: Spell Check continues to flag "VFR" (nozzle)

number 7: The server with the VFR engineering and manufacturing files crashed, and IT forgot to back it up. (LGN001)

number 6: Honda has a 9,000 square foot warehouse still full of
    800cc v-tech engines. ( JTC )

number 5: Honda engineers are still trying to come up with a more complicated valve train than the v-tec but as yet are unsuccessful.
    (300 shooter)

number 4: VFR owners have been bad boys and girls and are just getting a lump of coal ( REG71 )

number 3: Honda employees too busy trying make sense of Tiger Tiger.( RW )

number2: Popularity of "hitler VFR clip" forced a rethink in desgn and release date. V5 thou dropped in favour of flat twin wieghing over 400lbs and making 39 Hp. will, however get a machine gun in lieu of VTEC .(RT)

    and the number one....

After unveiling of the DN-01, Honda's entire enginering staff put on new special project developing instrumentation necessary to measure rpm of Sochiro in his grave.

congratulations to V4 Bear for his insightful commentary:bootyshake2:

i have erred on the side of humour in these picks, cos clearly the new VFR not appearing is a joke...
