If you hate being an American so much, that all you see is (self perceived) negativity, there's room for you in Iraq- I'm sure you can straighten everything out better than the President.

Speaking of faggy, have you even looked at your own avatar? it's a bunch of GUYS HANGING ALL OVER EACH OTHER. Just because there is a motorcycle in the pic doesn't make it cool....

Since I don't care what you think, I'm not going to put you on my ignore list. but since you care what everyone else thinks (you do keep responding to everyones inflamatory remarks towards you) I'll jump on the band wagon to see if I can get you to put me on your ignore list.

By the way, Rush Limbagh is so much more qualified to be President over obama.....:vader::strong::bootyshake2:

It really is amazing to me that there are some people out there who think that the Iraq war has been a good thing. Yes, a tyrant has been removed from power. Yes, civil rights have been re-introduced, but for Christ's sake, there were better ways of dealing with a faulty government other than bombing the whole damn country. A lot of people have f**king died for that guy to be able to throw his shoes at George and with the kind of numbers of dead we're talking about, he should have gotten at least a free-throw.
The point that I stopped at, when trying to believe in this war, was when we (the people) were flat out lied to about Weapons of Mass Destruction. The USA has the most comprehensive Intelligence system in the world and to think that it was flawed enough to cause the invasion of a country (A F**KING INVASION OF A WHOLE COUNTRY!!!!) is a bit of a stretch. This was a pre-programmed agenda-based war. We will find out, in a couple of years, just what the agenda was, but for now, it stinks and all of the people that have dead relatives are going to suffer for it for the rest of their "free" lives. (Not to mention the environmental catastrophe) It is my belief that war crimes have been committed by the Bush administration along with crimes against the country (treasonous stuff). I'm not going to begrudge some guy, with a dead daughter or son or brother or mother, a shoe toss.
Bush, in a few years (hopefully), will be thinking about that shoe and wondering what was worse; the inquiry in to the acts of his administration or a size ten to the noggin.

Knife, I have gone back and forth with you in the past and I want to say that I respect you and I wish you no ill. I would look you up to go for a ride if I was in that neck of the woods.
But this "Faster" guy is a friggin tool.:flame:
Faster, have you no brothers? I might recommend that a few lines of thoughtful writing might get you some points on the scale. But for now you have no more effectiveness than a fifth grader by bashing a guys avatar for gayness. Grow the hell up.
As for your Rush comment: He certainly has foreign policy experience by all of the "importing" that he has done in the past with Canada.

Back at ya. I respect everyone's views, as long as they're rational. Hearing the other person's point of view is one way how I learn and grow.

If I come through VT next Fall, I'll give you a shout!

Depends what you mean by " Weapons of Mass Destruction " there is no dispute he had Chemical and Biological weapons, an uncle of mine spent 9 months in Iraq around 1980 as a Chemical Engineer building 2 fertiliser plants Iraq, these were commisioned as part of their Desert reclamation program, when you talk about CIA not knowing the Itel Iraq internal security tightly controlled every foreigner in the country my uncle had 1 to 2 guards " for his own protection " with him at all times, the fertiliser plants were later found to have been coverted into Chemical weapon facilities....Further my uncle also remarked at the time not only did the Iraq Maps show future oasis around Bagdad he also observed a Regional map without Israel, no 2nd guessing what his future plans for Israel were.

There is no doubt Saddam did want the Atomic bomb why not India and Pakistan had them, he had the Physicists, he was only set back early by Israel bombing the Nuclear plant as it neared completion and later on he was continually playing games with then kicking out the UN Weapons Inspectiors he could have been doing whatever he wanted to in his Warsar pact made under ground bunkers, as good as the US spy satellites are don't think they can look 50 ft underground.

Having said all that " squirrelman " has a good point that once the decision was made to invade, Bush should have had a plan to keep the peace, from memory ( from watching an Dutch '04 Doco ) the original ARMY estimates given to the Bush administration prior to invading were about 400 to 450 thousand ?

Think you're right, who knows it may something like a knee jerk reaction along the lines of " O sh*t 11 of the 9/11 Hijackers are Saudi, we've been hearing ever worrying reports of Jihadists trying to overthrow the Saudi Government what happens to the world economy if the single biggest oil producer is shut off overnight ?

Easy answer " Iraq has the 2nd biggest liquid reserves but Saddam is difficult to deal with so lets get rid of him and install someone easier for us to deal with anyway the International Iraqi government in exile ( at the time ) keep promising as liberators all the peoples of Iraq will thow rose petals at our feet from gratitude if only we rid them of Saddam ", the never ending gratitude unfortunatly seemed to last about 8 hours.

Instead he "paid" for it with the lives of tens, more likely hundreds of thousands of his countrymen's lives. Although countrymen is a little off as there were many women and children killed in the last few years. But at least the water is on less, the electrical is less reliable, unemployment is higher, and they produce less oil...

Why should he be angry, we only went into a sovereign country, with no legal standing. Killed a bunch of people along the way. Put a bunch of 20 year olds in charge of rebuilding, with no overall plan, installed trigger happy private guards that can't be tried by local courts. Yeah, why should he be upset. Bush only wanted him to have what Bush had, only he didn't really ask did he? Just assumed everyone would want and benefit from our way of life.

we supported him early, shortly after the coup that toppled the shah (who by the way we also supported and was a dictator)

and we delivered arms to him for a long time, before we cut him off, whereby he then turned to the former USSR to gain more arms. There was a little overlap where he was buying from both because we wouldn't sell some stuff to him. He was even getting $$ from the CIA for a while, and there is a picture of Cheny or Rumsfeild shaking hands with him. He had every reason to beleive we wouldn't follow thru on our threat.

The enemy of your enemy is not always your friend.

ahhh, so freedom of speech is only allotted to those that tow the official government line? And if anyone dares to disagree, they should just keep their mouth shut or leave, is that right? Better yet if they don't think we have or are doing the right thing, they should shut up and leave, is that a fair assesment?

and you REALLY don't see the irony in that? really????

Rush the drug addict, hypocrite Limbaugh? Is that the one, who plays fast and loose with the truth and facts, that guy? Of course you are right, after all he did carry how many electoral votes again, oh yeah that is right, he carried exactly, let's see, carry the two, make sure you add in his home state and you get a big, fat (pun intended) 0! So of course he should be president.

I very much doubt the SS ever had custody of him, they were afterall in another country remember. And even if they did, I seriously doubt we would have see an Oswald like black eye, the secret service of today is far to professional to be caught pulling crap like that. To them it is just another day at the office, albeit one in sort of a war zone.
