Inside Regulator/Rectifier

    Anybody want to see the inside of a Honda Regulator/ Rectifier? This one is off a 1995 CBR900RR.

    I took a hammer and chisel to the back of this one to see what failed and also to see what was inside. Maybe someone can identify the parts and we can all learn something. You can see the burnt item that looks like a bunch of watch batteries wired together. I'm sure this is the part that failed.

    The broken copper wires and the frayed stranded wire are the results of my fine use of a hammer and chisel.

    If you want I can hack away some more and seperate all the parts now that I just figured out how to put pictures on this site.

    I don't think the TSA would let you on an Airplane with one of these.

    I imagine those circular "watch battery" things are diodes.
