I know a lot of you have gutted or cut your can and have had great luck with it. Well im having a problem keeping the bike running now that i cut my supertrapp in half and repacked it so i was wondering how hard is it to tune the jetting. It seems my bike is starving for fuel i tried restricting air flow to it but that only had minimal results. :bs:

the can you opened is a can of worms now. you need a Factory or Dynojet kit

or bigger main jets & shimmed needes, and you'll have the carbs off and on several times before it's sorted.....

I had the opposite problem. My 89 Hawk was running so rich that I think the exhaust fumes would have created an explosion if someone smoked a cigar next to it. So, do what I did & call Factory Pro. Trust me when I tell you, you will be impressed with their customer service. With their help, I got my Hawk GT running like a freight train. It just pulls & pulls harder. The harder I beat the bike, the more it comes back for more.

    KC-10 FE out...
