    why is the gear box so clunkey

    Check your chain tension to make sure it isnt too tight or too loose. I had mine adjusted just a tad bit tight and it sounded like 1st and 2nd were clunking. My chain is stretched defferently along the chain and I have a chain and sprocket set coming from Vortex. I will keep the 16 toth up front but will be going to a 45 tooth on the rear.

    has anyone had problems with the variable valve intake ?
    i had a problem with my clutch switch which i renewed
    i notice after doing the checks that the variable valve solenoid keeps switching on and off with clutch lever [ neutral light out ]
    does anyone know if this is normal

    hmm not much help for the Vtec thingy, but the clunck? is that when you drop it in gear from the first time? or when you shift during a ride. most will have a defite drop in place when going into gear from netrual, no biggy IMO
