Okay, I just met another VFR rider locally. It turns out, he stopped by because he saw my bike sitting outside and he needed some help with his. He rides a 99 and here's his issue: The FI light stays on. It turns out he had a crack in the gas tank so he replaced it with a new one, but he still gets the light. So he looked in the service manual about resetting the light, but neither of us could find the plug where it says it's supposed to be in the manual. Does anyone have a clear picture of this plug? Has anyone done this procedure? Is there anything else pertinent to resetting this I should know. Thanks.

I think that may be it. Thanks a lot Classe. We'll have to see if that's it and get his light reset. I'll let you know if it works.
