I'm new to motorcycling but I just bought '98 VFR 800 with 24500 on it about 2 months ago. Just finished my MSF course this weekend and have been having a blast riding. I've been monitoring this forum for a while but figured it was about time to post. I just put a Staintune low-mount slip on on my bike last Friday and it sounds terrific! I look forward to riding with some of you sometime in the future when I'm confident enought to start tackling some Blue Ridge curves and turns.

Looking forward to chatting, great forum! It seems like the VFR community is pretty tight-knit and helpful to all.

Hi Rob. Welcome to the forum and congrats on completing the MSF course and on your first post. NIce first mod for your bike. S-T's have a nice rumble to them. How was the MSF course?

I really enjoyed the course. I think a large part of that were my two instructors who made the course fun and relaxed. While I understand why a lot of more experienced riders don't want to have anything to do with it, I believe a lot of riders could benefit from it new or old. It certainly teaches you safer riding habits and makes you think a bit more about your role on the road as a 'cyclist.

Aside from that though, it helped my confidence in curves and turns about 200%. I've basically got a new bike from when I bought it. Now I understand more of what my bike can do and how much better it can do it than other bikes.

    Thanks for the reply!
