Whenever I see a product that makes claims to increase power or whatever I take a step back and ask myself "why doesn't the manufacture do this from the factory"? Because it normally is a waste of money or does more harm than good.

Don't ask yourself this question if you are a conspiracy guy/gal.

All I have to say is.............. Fucking Whoa! Alright, I have more to say than that.
Possibly, just possibly, you have increased your performance by using additives that shrink the gap between your cylinder walls and rings, decreasing blow-by and thus increasing energy transfer to you crankshaft. You have certainly lubricated all of the surfaces with all of the crap that you put in and maybe you have decreased overall friction in your engine. But I have to say that you smoking crack and then posting on this forum boasts of 20 more horsepower from a bottle is by far the only good thing that has happened to your bike. Ride safe and make sure you wear your seat belt when riding.
Oh BTW, I have clutch kits for your bike that I make specially for oil additive use. When you are ready the install a new clutch, I have a racing clutch that GUARANTEES 50 more horsepower. They only cost $1500+shipping. If that's too racy for you I have stock replicas that are designed for oil additives as well. They are $1000+shipping. I take paypal.

This Thread reminds me of the guy that added so many fuel saving gizmo's on his boat, eventually the gas tank overflowed and sank his boat LOL

a good follow up to this thread would be a "how to put gas in your bike" thread, with lot's of photos, of course. Or maybe a "how to install your seat cowl" thread..........

I have it on good authority that Slick 50 is actually alien technology. The Air Force has of course denied it, but they use it in their nuclear reactors to extend fuel rod life. They started with the SR-71 Blackbird, to get it to go so fast, then a skunk works engineer smuggled it out of Area 51 and started a company. No one knows how it really works. And the engineer mysteriously disappeared.

wow so much negativity in my bikes hp gains with adding oil additives..I never though of the gas additives though humm.. 105 octane boast should give me another 2-3hp and maybe the nos in a can is good also. I'll get it tommorrow after the zmax is finished with its soaking process. I thought the clutch kit (race) was $750 are you trying to rip me off?? and the new quad pronge spark plugs are supposed to give 5hp !! It said it on TV therefore it must be true..rode it home today and its awesome the slick50 kicks butt. never tried it in the lawnmower. I guess if it works that well I can let the grass grow longer next year..Thanks for the advice..think I'll order a slick50 jacket..

I put slick50 and the quad sparkplugs in my snow blower. Now it works as a wood chipper/rock crusher. And do you remember the blizzard of 07? It didn't happen cause I was idling my snow blower and it sucked the whole storm up and blew it in to the ocean. You betcha!

Back when I used to work as a mechanic I saw some of the bad things that SLick50 did to peoples cars. The oil would come out like syrup.

I changed my oil and filter last night. I put in 3-1/2 quarts of Slick 50 as I figured if a little was good, alot would be better. Fired her up and went for a test ride. It was smooth as silk for about 2 miles and then all of a sudden, no clutch. Did I ruin my bike??

BZ.....sometimes I wonder if you are married to your wife for disguise while you are secretly in love with KC.....each day you sound like you are ready to have his baby! :preggers: Kinda reminds me of that Bugs Bunny cartoon where the bulldog Spike has the little dog jumping around him saying everything to agree with him.

Not that there is anything wrong with that....

Lets get this issue straight right now Stuka.

I pitch and KC catches! We've found slick-50 works best for such situations and promote it at all Harley hating events for all your love needs.

Seriously, its nothing more than great minds thinking alike.

Don't worry, we'll name our love child after you Stuka.

    LOL!

Never thought of replacing my Astroglide on the night stand with Slick 50. See? That right there is why I am an Insider on this board. Fresh new ideas. Guys like BZ..the ebb and flow of ideas. The constant back and forth of friendships. A deeper understanding of the ins and outs of motorcycling. Just knowing that you guys will slide right in there and help me with hard problem is such a relief.

The only additive that I have used and actually did something was "Engine Restore". Came in a silver pop-top can, and looked like pureed Smurfs.

Supposedly, it fills grooves in the cylinder walls and increased compression. Also reduced blow-by by freeing up the rings.

Like I've said before, Slick50, Z-Max, and any "octane booster" are all worthless. Look on the label - "Petroleum Distillates", all the same thing.

For the VFR, use a NORMAL oil, and you'll be fine. Use any of this crap and you risk damage to your engine.
