Does any one know how much voltage should be on the three yellow wires before the voltage regulator.

Disconnect the wires and use a A/C voltmeter on them. Should be over 60 volts A/C at 5000 rpm.

You can also measure resistance between any two of the three yellow leads. Impdedance should be 0.1-1.0 ohms. Any higher and you possibly have a burned and/or damaged stator. Try RonAyers.com as well as ServiceHonda.com for best replacement prices. Best of luck.

I believe that the output is ~75 volts.

From the 1990-1996 Honda service manual:

    "Charging Coil Inspection

Disconnect the alternator 3P connector and measure the resistance between connector terminals (Yellow and Yellow).

Standard: 0.1-1.0 ohms (at room temperature)

Check for continuity between Yellow wire terminal and ground. There should be no continuity."

    ^^^

A great way to ruin your stator.
