I want to install new exhaust on my 05. I dont want just sound ,I want power too. What brand and why, Is there any advantage to gutting my cat? Do I need a power Commander or equal to achieve this, O' ya and I'm at 7000 ft. Speed Safe Will
Buying exhaust alone for power is like pissing on a forest fire. They just don't deliver seat of the pants power. Given your altitude, i'd recommend a PC with any intake/exhaust mod you do. Since you're going for the gusto, might as well get a high flow air filter too. I bought Ti Microns and really enjoy the sound. Want to gut the cat because its still just not quite loud enough.
