I live in Western NC where it can get into the teens and low 20's during the peak of winter. However the weather is such that opportunities to ride still exist throughout the season. I don't plan on hibernating the bike unless it is absolutely necessary. THe bike resides in my garage. Should anything be added to the fuel during the winter?

A local motorcycle shop has been advertising octane boost for Harley's during the "winter months." I was wondering if any such thing needs to be considered for my '06 Viffr.

    Thanks,

    Gunzer

Im sure you can put some Stabil into the tank, just to be safe, if it has the possibility of sitting for a while.

I ran my 2000 all winter last winter without any additives. I have run it in the 20s already this year too. No abnormalities were observed.
