torque on engine cover?

    Anyone know the torque values of both engine covers on second gen? And if they are over torqued will that cause them to leak? (left and right)

    Hoda manual quotes, Crankcase bolts

    Quantity 15. Thread size 6mm. Torque 7.2 - 10 ft-lb.

    Overtightening them could cause a leak if you deform the flat surface. It is unlikely though that you could apply enough force to an M6 steel bolt housed in aluminium to cause it. I think the thread would strip first.
