So I've heard quite a few things from a lot of people. I was just wondering. If you removed your mufflers and just ran with the headers on your bike, would you cause exhaust valve damage?

Ive heard both sides to the story, but if you think about it, there are a lot of choppers out there running just straight pipes.

    Im very confused.

Heard the same, but as you say there are alot choppers with loud pipes, but on the other side, they don“t have the same revs as sportbikes.

That's what I've always heard also, but I can't verify it. You would sure piss off your neighbors, though. That, I could pretty much guarantee.
