Just joined the other day and thought I'd better post something to get me started. So just saying Hi... Is there anyone from Central Scotland out there?:cheersaf:
Chewa is from the Highlands. He should be around. Welcome aboard. If you go to the 'community' tab above, then to the 'members' tab you will see a members map. You can see where several members are in Scottland and place your name on the map as well.
Welcome! I am in Tucson, Arizona, USA but I LOVE Scotch and I can fake a decent Scottish accent. (LOL!) We enjoy having people from all over...glad to have ya!
Welcome and someday I hope to get out to the Scottish Highlands, the closest I ever got was Scarborough, UK.
Welcome, Iainh. How's riding this time of year in Central Scotland. Our temps are starting to drop into the 40's for a good part of the daylight hours. It is time to toughen up a bit.
Iain, Contrary to popular belief I'm in Fife, but spend a fair time up North. Work in Edinburgh. Welcome
Good to see so many people saying hi from just one post. ewryly, riding has not been great for most of this summer (rain almost every day), weather today and for the rest of the week is sunny, 1st full week of sun this year I think, only problem is it's to be freezing at night. I hope to ride to work, but we'll see. I'm just back from a week in Vegas, riding a Harley was great, so hot I had to ride wearing shorts and T-shirt. Chewa, I used to work up in Fife, Cowdenbeath. I now work in Glasgow, braving the M77 & M8 at rush hour. It's a good run in though. Started getting the bus this morning though. Nungboy, I live about 2 miles from the place where they bottle Johnny Walker, the worlds most famous scotch. So Hi, to everyone, I'm sure we'll chat more in the future...
welcome to the site. I cannot say we have a lot of scots that are active on the board but probably lots with sottish heritage... look out for a guy named randy living up in the great white north called Canada...
