The terrorists are against EVERY country. Oh, I get it...It's OUR fault. Just like everything else. We are soooo bad!!! We should just have them bend over so we can kiss their hineys. Us and our evil air conditioners, cars and houses. What exactly did we do? Yeah, I know, you are going to say that Bush was picking on them. Was Carter picking on them when they took the hostages? Was Clinton picking on them when they bombed the USS Cole? I guess we could make it all better if we made our women dress in bed sheets, cover their faces, revoke their right to vote. And, we could force all Americans to become Muslem. Yeah, that'd do it. Then we could all come together have a big hug and sing a song. Yeah, Right.

Just a point out here. Two years at the helm of a state almost half the size of the lower 48, that has twice the natural resources, Vs, 150+ days as a senator of what state? Hows that work out math wise with responsibility? That and at least IMO she's able to stand up without strings attached.
I see her making a better president than either one of the current candidates. In a poll taken from those that are not sure who to pick, they tend to pick the better looking one, so it doesn't hurt that's she's easy on the eyes too

I disagree. She has 0 experience doing anything like running the whole country. She doesent even know how the government works. THE VP DOES NOT WORK IN THE SENATE.

Everyone is listening to her and choosing not to vote and because of this they are saying palin is going to be mccains downfall.

I still stand that voting is a scam. <just my humble opinion.

Just one quick note. "The Vice President shall be the President of the Senate"(US Constitution, Article 1, Section 3). Joe Biden was corrected about this. Yeah, that's right, Big Joe Biden, savior of all liberals, been in the congress for years, got this one wrong too. Please, know what the heck you're talking about before posting!!! And, know what the heck you're talking about before running for VP!!!

EEEK didn't want to buy in as have really liked all Americans I have befriended or worked with and after listening to the debates and interviews find Sarah Palin has acquitted herself well enough to deserve her position as VP candidate even more since finding out her attributed " Dinosaur " comment was untrue.

To answer your question with what is freely available on public record. Reagan had unwittingly helped make Al Qaeda when he directly supported Osama with funding, training and armaments against the Russians in Afganistan then didn't support the emerging democratic Afgan Governement against the Pakistan based Taliban. After helping the Taliban Osamas main agenda was to force the removal of 45000 US troops from Saudia Arabian soil by any means possible and that meant using his anti Soviet training for ill against the US anywhere he could.

Bush Snr then Bill Clintons problem was not listening to early CIA warnings to kill Osama and his group of zealots before he could move his power and political influence to Islamic mainstream and just waste cruise missiles moving rocks around the Afgan desert when it was too late.

In other words to make Osama then not destroy him early on when he showed his true colors.

I couldn't be happier with Jonn McCain's choice of Sarah Palin for his running mate. He did a heck of a favor for the Obmama camp. By choosing Palin, he infuriated the conservative base to the point where more than just a few GOP stalwarts have decided to endorse Obama. The left side of the aisle must have had quite a celebration when she was announced, especially after she started answering questions form the media. Priceless. Great choice John, oh, and thanks for the favor.....

I was a mccain guy, but cannot with a clean conscience vote for a ticket where Palin would become the president of the US, with her kooky creationist ideals, complete lack of real foreign policy, and ignorance of what really needs to be done in this country.

Therefore my vote goes to Obama, I think he will do a fine job, and Biden is solid as well. I am not into the government getting all my money, but I think we have shown quite clearly in the last decade that the average american certainly isnt smart enough to deal with finances in a manner that is positive for the economy.

The breakdown of democracy happens when the average american is too stupid to govern themselves. Im afraid we are there.

"I make 30K a year, sure I can afford a 500K house and a benz, why not??" bunch of goddamn nitwits.

I hate big government, but at this point, a little more regulation is all that is going to keep this train from derailing.

Oh, and if the sh1t ever hits the fan with russia or china, can you IMAGINE palin heading into those talks? Putin vs. Palin. He would probably just shoot her. We would be walked all over.

I am not so much voting for Obama as I am NOT voting for a ticket with Palin on it.

Obama and McCain couldn't be more different. How could anyone with any conviction jump ship because of the running mate? I would simply not vote than vote for the other side. On one side I get to spend my money...on the other, the Obama will spend it for me. I think I'll spend it myself.

You would really vote for someone so the rest of the world will like us?? Com'on, give me a break. The rest of the world couldn't give a rats a$$ who our president is. Just as long as we have a weak, chicken-hearted president and Congress which wouldn't have the guts to stand up to their foolishness. They will never like us...and who cares anyway? They don't help us in time of need. Where were they during Katrina, Ike, or any of the other natural disasters we've had? I didn't see or hear of any. Other than our allies, the rest of the world can kiss my:bootyshake2:!!

I agree that they are different in many respects, such as health care and education, but don't think for a minute that McCain wouldn't be spending your money for you. His first chance would be to take your money to bail people out of their housing foreclosure. You pay for their mistakes. That is just the beginning for McCain. He says he's for Joe the Plumber (what a f***in joke), but he isn't. He is for Joe the millionaire oil tycoon.

Holy sh**!!! Please tell me you aren't a registered voter. Maybe you are formerly from Canada or something.

Serouisly though, in respect from one VFR rider to another, I couldn't disagree with you more on this one. I just hope that she does not get a chance in office. Mark my words, we will have the same outcome we had with the two dumbasses who will be leaving office soon. Most of those who voted for them as die hard republicans now not only disapprove of him (What is Bush's latest approval rate? 18% I believe),but absolutely can not understand why they voted for him in the first place. It would be the same with her and McCain (especially her).

WOW!!! To hear you guys, you'd think that Bush had burned down your houses on Christmas Eve. I am doing better than I was 8 years ago. And, I'd bet a lot of you are too. You guys would cry no matter who was in office. OOOOHHH it's soooo bad. Well, cry me a river. If you think it is so bad now, read a history book!!!! We have it so easy, too easy. And, you guys are still crying in your beer. In a way, I wish Obama would win...then I could say "I TOLD YOU SO". But, some will tell how great Obama is even if he did burn your house down. Just turn CNN off and look around. It's not that bad. As a matter of fact...It's pretty darn good.
