    Seen it before but it is true.
    The most common thing when a car hits a bike is
    "I never saw him"
    this is because they are scanning for cars, they are programed to look for cars.
    they don't see any cars they turn left and hit you...because they didn't see any cars.

    This is not a joke in British Columbia. I have had to stop for bears a couple of times.

    Aye, may dad loaned out his 2006 goldwing to a friends brother...
    he hit another bike who stopped for a ...black bear.

    ... and the black bear had probably stopped on the road to watch a passing moose ...

    that was my closest near crash this yr on a fast canyon rip grabbed the brakes to avoid hitting a black bear rider behind dint expect it shot by me i think we both craped our selfs.

    you really don't know how bad some car drivers really are until you ride a bike
