I'm now the proud owner of an 86 VF500F. Kick ass little bike, but needs to visit a mechanic (it's been 15 years since I've had a bike, and I no longer have tools or shop space to work on it). I saw in a recent newbie thread someone mentioned George Dean's in Montlake Terrace. Is that the place to go in Seattle? Seattle Cycle Center on Aurora ave seemed to have the best online reviews, but I'm open to suggestions. Also looking forward a group ride once the weather turns nice... Bike pic is in my avatar.

    Cheers!
    Harry

Welcome! I am sure you will be glad to find there are several members around your area, and more down around Portland. I am not sure what shops are good up there, hopefully someone can chime in on that.
