Picked up a hitchhiker today...

    you already know the answer to that. I actually have been flying since I was young. I just chose not to get my license as it was a lot of time and money and being able to get hours was too much of a hassle. I decided that riding was much more convenient. Now if you are talking about rideing the bus compared to flying, there is no comparison. The bus SUX but, sometimes it's necessary. I did take the bus from my house down to SLO before Dan txted me but that was our public transit bus, not the greyhound. Riding companions comparable, though. Catching the flight with Dan was a definite upgrade in conversational quality... The frggen bus people were talking politics! I had to put on my headphones and drown them out.

    I would like to go up in a helo again (hint hint) as it's been a couple years. My buddy worked for a med-evac team and I flew in theirs once. Talk about nice. Compared to the 67 Huey I used to jump out of in the military, that med-evac was a caddilac!

    Wish you coulda got more stick time. It's all about GPS direct when you pay by the hour!

    And obviously they were breaking in a new controller. She shoulda noticed us hitting the pattern at 200mph before she stuck us behind a taildragger doin 50. :plane:

    Isn't that what the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System is for?? to slow ya down when your charging up on the other guy? :wink:

    i cant begin to tell tales of my trip I went from FREDERICK MD,, basicly washington DC ..
    TO PORTLAND OREGEON, on the grey hound 4 day trip
    pittsburg, salt lake city, chicago,, god knows where else we stopped...
