Sweetest Day: Is It Me Or Are We

is it me or are us men getting the short end of the stick again for this damned hallmark holiday. Sweetest day. I was under the impression it was the mens turn to be pampered and left the hell alone to ride/work/ or play on our bikes or other toys. why was i just informed per google that its a woman holiday..that means i gotta go buy some more candy, flowers and jewelry...what the hell...i was at home making room for my new torque wrench, MIG welder or some power tool. damn i hate hallmark...

Sorry ladies and gents i had to vent...this post does not reflect the thoughts or ideas of all men, just most of them.. :soapbox::strong:

Women and nuetered men will spout something about every other day being magical because they are with us....

But eather way i still lack a mig welder as well....

Hmmmm.
No mention of this in my house........maybe I'm lucky.
Find something to fix or mod on her car where you need the torque wrench or welder, then just buy it with that as an excuse.
For example (welder).....

What's not to love! You get the tool, she's happy as a clam!

 

I will proceed to ignore this "holiday" like all the other retail based holiday's printed on the calendar. Most people don't even buy cards anymore since the internet and email have taken over. This is Halmark's way of trying to stay afloat...
