New to the VFR forum and I would like to ask my one and only stupid question: Does the 2006 VFR800 come with the paint matched rear seat cover? All of the pictures do show it but the dealership says the bike I'm buying doesn't come with it. Am I being jerked around or is it an option?
I surfed on over to Service Honda to look at their online fiche. It shows a seat cowl with 2 part numbers, presumably one is white and one is black. The numbers on the fiche were NHA64P and NHA66P. I don't know if the cowl is standard or an option, but check with another dealer to be sure. Hope this helps. Somone here with an 06 muight better be able to tell you for sure.
It came with one on my 02. Also the little plastic covers that go over the space left when you remove your rear passenger handles. I say this dealer is trying to rip you off and sell them back to you later.
I just picked up an 06 and the seat cover is matched (black). Did anyone get the handrail covers with their bike to cover the space where the handrails go when removed ?
My '06 came with the seat cowl and the replacement covers if you choose to take your passenger grips off. This is the third VFR I've owned and all three came from the factory with the seat cowl. Your dealer is incorrect.
