I got my bike running today. I broke down and took the carbs off and cleaned it. In the back of my mind I knew it was going to have to happen.

But awwwwwww man. It sounds so freakin absolutly insanely beautifull. it is just so very gorgious sounding.

it did help when i hooked the fuel pump up correctly, put gas into the engine rather than pull it out.

There is a pretty bad gas leak, but i haven't screwed down the carbs so im hoping that to be the reason. Should be.

What this thread is about is I would like to take a moment and say Thank You to the people that helped me troubleshoot the problems my bike was having. It was alot easier to find the problem once it got worse and was not so sparatic.

Again, Thank you very much for your help and advice.

    Mike.

well. maybe i spoke too soon. there is a tube comming from a round thing with a few tubes in it spewing out gas.

cannot do much untill i try to find a diagram somehow to show me where the tubes go. i was sure i put them in the same place.obviously something somewhere isent right. im confident the leaking tube is in the right place, but i cannot find anywhere to put it.

Other than that it does seem to be able to run well.

It might be the float bowl drain. Check the screws in the bottom of the bowls.

Well, I don't know what I did, but you are welcome! It might drastically help others help your cause if you put what year/make/model of bike that you have on your profile, and this thread.

If its the fuel tubes it may just need new orings installed. Also can see if they will seal them selfs once the get wet. Try it again and see if there is still a leak. May even have a bad line
