Just picked up my 90 VFR the other day and took it for it's first cruise out on the road. Got looking at the temperature gauge and the needle has barely moved (about 3-4 widths of the needle).

So I'm thinking I might have a stuck open thermostat or something. But before I take it apart I thought I'd check with other riders.

    1/4 to 1/2 tops

mine never goes above 1/2 way and usually is at 1/4... the only time I see it higher than 3/4 is a hot (95+ degree) day at the track, after 12,500 RPMs for 20 mins...

gauge is probably the same kwality as the fuel gauge "close, but dont worry about it, its a honda"

I sounds okay to me, the only time mine goes 1/4 to 1/2 way is in traffic when sitting, as soon as I get moving it drops back down.
