Definitely going to have to broaden the search to your surrounding big cities...Im in Cinci, and when looking searched the indy, louisville, colombus etc areas. Not sure whats around you, but craigslist is your friend.

I have a 2003 VFR, and I love it. I bought a Corbin Gunfighter and Lady seat used and it makes a big difference for my girlfriend and I. She is about 5'6" 130lbs, really likes the backrest and seat, and hasn't ever complained about heat. Her only complaint the last ride was that I didn't stop soon enough to let her stretch out, otherwise she says it is very comfortable. By the way, she comes from a family of Harley owners and has always ridden those. Get the VFR, buy an aftermarket saddle and backrest and she should be pretty comfortable.
