So this is an intro and two simple questions:

After a lovely lady on a cellphone decided to make my 08 CBR600RR a hood ornament earlier this summer, I've decided I want to go with a more comfortable ride. The VFR seems to fit the bill. It looks like I will be getting a almost new 06 and I've got some questions.

The bike is minty, but it's missing the owners manual. Anyone know where I can score one?

I plan to pull the passenger pegs and grab handles (no passengers for me) anyone know where I can get the parts/covers to cover up to holes after I pull the grab handles?

    TIA

Ron Ayers or Service Honda sell the covers for the passenger handles. They came with the bike when it was new but I guess their long gone now. I don't know about the owners manual but you can down load the service manual on this site. Good luck with the transaction and welcome to the site.

Welcome aboard. The owners manual should be available through your local dealer.

Those covers are most likely under the back bone of sub frame which is under seat, look hard and slide something under there to find it.

You can get a pdf of the manual on the Internet. Go to the Honda owner's link at https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?page=/prod_home.asp . Somewhere on the site you can register and put in your VIN. The nice thing about this is that it will bring up your exact bike (the right color too) and will update you on any recalls, etc. Once you register the manual becomes available to you.

I presently have the back footpegs off and have an Arrow exhaust on it -- looks awesome! If I ever get one of my bags back (long story, different thread) I'll have to lose the look, but will enjoy it while I can.

Thanks for the heads up on the download. I'll grab that. Arrow makes a slip on? Do tell! I want to pull the passenger pegs off as well but I've got the ABS model. Any chance you've got pics with the Arrow and pegs off? That must look sweet.
