    Hello all,

I just joined today. Although I don't yet have a VFR, I plan to buy one by the end of the year. I want to see what colors are going to be availavle for 07.

I have been riding on the street since 1987. Until a couple of years ago, most of my experience is on full bore sport bikes(GXSR 750, R1, Mille R). For the last three years I have been riding a FZ1.

I'm looking for a sport-tourer that is comfortable and less vibes than the Fizzer with bullet proof reliability. I think the VFR will be all of that and more.

B, Welcome to our group. Many will tell you that the Vifer is a comfortable bike (I tend to agree) and that it is extremely reliable. The V-4 is has a different feel than sport bikes powerwise, but it is still a strong, powerul engine.

Hey B! You definitely won't be disappointed in an 07 VFR. I too am in the market for a new(ish) one, once I find the right deal.

You also live right down the street, I'm in Pleasanton. Let me know when you get it!

M, I'll post up pics of the bike as soon as I get it.

I have a riding buddy in Mountain View, so I'm always passing through your neck of the woods.

Loot...The catchy throttle can't be anywhere near as bad as my Aprilia Miile R was. The throttle on that bike was an on/off switch below 3K. Thanks for the input. I'll be looking into that before I hand over the check.

welcome, I see you're in CA. If you decide to go used, there is a 5th gen on sale down here in the central coast and also a few weeks ago I saw a 6th gen. the 5th is in the paper and I posted a note about it the other day with the phone #. The other one I saw on craigslist on san luis obispo. craigslist is where I found my bike, too.

I'd think very seriously about getting a 5th gen.
While I love the styling of my 6th, I wish i had some of the trick features of the 5th:wink:
