Hello everyone. I am new to VFR world as of yesterday. After a 13 year hiatus from a motorcycle. I have run the gamit the past 3 months on bikes. About 3 months ago i traded a car & cash for a 2007 Ninja 650R. Nice bike, but underpowered. The same week, i traded my 86 Iroc Camaro for a 99 Suzuki Marauder 800 cruiser. Then under some pressure from my wife to get me a cruiser & her the Marauder, i traded the Ninja for a 2001 Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 1500. What a tank! Liked the bike, just couldnt get use to the mass. I am 5'9 & 180 pounds. I sold the Vulcan 2 weeks ago & the same day i bought a stock 98 VFR800 that had been layed down & the taillight/rear cowl was broken. 2 days later i found a 99 VFR800 with some mods. So i bought it & took the mods & combined the 2 bikes to make me 1 nice bike. I went with the 98 as it has 17,000 miles & untouched except for maintenance & 2 new tires. I put the 99 back together with the broken stuff & am either gonna sell it for a loss or possibly part it out. I am thinking i can get more by parting it out.
Anyways, i love the VFR. Its a great all around bike & cheaper to insure.

WOW. You have been all over the place in a short while.
My opinion...the parts for these bikes will become harder to get in a short while. Hold on to that parts bike if at all possible. It could pay for itself in a few years.
