More on tires

    Okay, is the small rubber bridge in the tread kind of halfway to the outside the wear indicator? It seems like I have heard people say that. If so, are the tires ready to change when the rubber is worn down to them? I wonder because it looks like I'm gonna wear a flat spot in the middle from my commute to work before I wear down to it.

    I presume you mean the little "bar" that runs between the tread. Yes, that is the wear indicator. It very similar if not the same as on a car tire. When they start getting even with the tread, it's time to change tires.
