Hi, I am new to this site as well as the motorcycle world... Got my license 1 year ago, sat on a VFR and hit the road, in more ways than one, last year was my training year. Sad to say but i laid my bike down a couple of times while learning. Thanks to my side bags not much damage to my body, but the bags kinda of got scratched up... This year my very patient boyfriend (who drives a Honda St1300) has taken me on a few long distant trips, one being from Calgary to Tofino and back, Lots of great twisty roads and many hours on the bikes has improved my driving skills a lot. So much so that he desided to try and paint the side bags himself... Many Thanks to him, as they turned out perfect, looks like brand new.. And thanks to all the people on this site which posted information on how to sand and paint, very helpful..
Please don't sting us Mrs. Bee..... :beehive: :behindsofa: Hello and welcome to the insane asylum! Take off your shoes and make yourself young lady! Most of us don't bite, or at least we have had our rabies shots if we do!
Welcome aboard. Nice to see another VFR owner from the Great White North. Also nice to see another female VFR owner. We'll try not to scare you away.
Welcome! Beware! With the announcement of another same-ol'-same-ol' 2009 VFR there may be some grumpy folks around here for a couple days. Then it will likely be back to the tom-foolery it typically is.
How can you be sure that Gizmo is a lady? Maybe "He" has a boyfriend who does this to him :ncb: Muhahahahaha!!! Regards, Rollin
ummm.....the little pink female symbol next to Gizmo  Welcome aboard Gizmo. You'll find the nuts run the asylum here.....
Welcome, Gizmo. A few long days on the road is a great way to leap frog your skills. Glad to have you here.
