I will admit that Corbin does indeed make a great saddle, but be weary about purchasing a used one. Like myself, I was able to have my saddle custom fit to me. I am 5' 7" with short 29" legs and the stock seat was not impressing me.

I scheduled an appointment at the Corbin factory in Holister, CA and 5 hours later...Presto! a new world of comfort for me. I had my saddle made without the colored piping (trim) and used a Carbon fiber look leather. It does look sweet but more important it is comfortable.

Corbin does not use a soft comfy cushion for their saddles. They use a firmer memory foam. Their theory for using a firmer foam is so you will have more comfort than a soft foam or gel saddle if it is made to the individual riders unquie build/fit. If you do find a used saddle, find out why are they selling it. Supposely Corbin does have a generic saddle set-up that works with most riders.

I hope I helped give you some insight and wish you the best of luck for your quest on finding a saddle.

Their back rests are already made and have some adjustability to them. I consider getting one just because they looked so coool! I didn't need one due to the fact I was using a Givi trunk (case) with a optional back pad attached to it that became my back rest for my passenger. If you don't want to use a clusmy looking case for a backrest, then get the Corbin back rest. It runs almost $150. Ouch! Check out their web site to see all of the fabrics, colors, and designs.
