awsome! I just bought an 86 VFR 700 one sweet bike! it was not properly taken care of so I am going through the steps right now. (fixing the electrical, and cooling mainly) but when I get that done I will be ready to ride longer distances. my bike has 95K mi on it but it still feels pretty good. when i get all that work done, I would be stoked to go riding with you guys.

I am sure there are at least 2 in Sac Town. One of those is in school right now, so riding with him may be hit and miss. Bweiss is his name.

I'm a bay area transplant, used to be out in Sacramento, but now I'm in San Jose.

 

I work in Palo Alto (down on the peninsula from you), and live in Boulder Creek (Big Basin State Park). Hwy 9's my commute. It's a tough life.

The "Bay Area" roughly runs from Gilroy to Santa Rosa, SF to Livermore, at this point (maybe further?).

So welcome to the Area, prepare to be assimilated.

PorscheBob, you're pretty darn local to me. When I worked downtown PA, I'd ride past Alice's going to/from work. Now come down 9 to Saratoga and take 85/280/PageMill to get the Calif Ave part of town.

I'm in Roseville (25 miles north of Sacto). Nice roads near here (Auburn/Foresthill/Placerville/Coloma/Downieville/Georgetown/Icehouse). Me and my bike are currently healing up from an accident (see "Felony Hit & Run" thread). But, it would be nice to get some folks together next season. Welcome to the area...

I'm in Sonora on Highway 108 North of Yosemite and due east of Modesto at 2,000' elevation. There's a great road south of here near Coulterville I hear, but I've yet to ride it..."Soon, very soon!"
