Yup, I just got this puppy off Craigslist for free, and I need help, and some parts to make it run. Here are some pics of the bike, and pic of the engine with the cover off. I need everything that is missing from under the cover, clutch assembly, pulse generator stuff, starter gear stuff, in fact I need a pic of what I should be seeing inside this part of the engine.

Wow, free is not bad, but you def have a project ahead of you. Scour e-bay, craigs list, the classifieds here, and salvage yards for parts. Most of all, be patient as finding parts is gonna take time, especially as the bike gets older. From the second pic, looks like the whole clutch assembly (basket, friction and steel plates, pressure plate, springs, etc is missing) plus some other related cogs, unless you took them off.

BTW, Welcome to VFRWorld, I am sure there are members who can help better than I.

Thanks for the welcome, yes the entire clutch assembly and the rest of the inners of that clutch area are gone, but I guess for free I can't expect the bike to be totally sweet. I have taken a look at other aspects of the bike and it appears to be complete aside from the missing fairings and a dozen Honda fasteners, some of which were replaced by local hardware store nuts and bolts. So yes, I realize it's gonna take a bit of research to find everything but I think it will be worth it. It's my first street bike but I have had alot of other bikes so I feel confident I can make it into something fun. As far as having patients, hehe, that's the hard part. I'm glad I found this site, and if anyone has parts or advice for me I will be much obliged.:yo:
