Hey guys, just got me a 98 vfr and the batt. won't stay charged. Well I figured it was the r/r. So I pulled the cowl off and danm. Someone went in and attempted to do a mod. There are huge #4 gauge wires spliced in to the stator wires and the r/r also to the batt. They cutt the connectors off and butt spliced the wires. I need to know does it matter which wires coming from the stator that I hook to the r/r since there is no connector ? I can do the mod. properly since reading the thread eairlier. I just don't like the way this rat's nest looks, and I don't like to walk. Thanks for any help!!!!

The three yellows are ac voltage from the stator and can be hooked together in any order as long as it's yellow to yellow.
